Truck crashes in Sri Racha killing one migrant worker

After hitting multiple roadside vendors at a Sri Racha market and killing one migrant worker, a truck driver claimed a pickup truck cut him off. The collision on the 331 Road in the Bowin sub-district of Sri Racha district, Chonburi, was reported to Bowin Police last night, around midnight, on June 8.

Along with the Ban Bueng rescuers, the officers sped to the scene of the collision.Police arrived at the market and discovered a white Isuzu 4-wheel truck surrounded by overturned stalls and merchandise. The front of the truck was harmed.

The collision injured four people, three girls and one male, who were taken to Laemchabang Hospital.Ms. Sarinya Suwannasri, a market restaurant owner and eyewitness, claimed that she was about to close her shop when she heard a loud bang coming from a distance. The truck began to approach her quickly, she realized.

Ms. Sarinya swiftly took off for safety. Sadly, her father was struck by the truck and only had minor wounds. Another worker from a nearby shop was critically hurt and later passed suddenly at a hospital at around 5:00 AM, along with two of her employees.

Ms. Ray Yeon, a worker from Cambodia who was 41 years old, was eventually revealed to be the deceased.

Police questioned a truck driver who was not identified at the scene. He claimed that after being cut off by a pickup truck, he lost control of his car.
