“Movements like this have the ability to make a huge impact on local communities, but only if people rally behind them.”
Thailand is such an amazing canvas, however, there is a massive need for responsibility when it comes to maintaining and sustaining the natural environment. Sadly, to say there are times where the natural beauty of some of Thailand’s most beautiful landscapes are tarnished with litter and lack of maintenance. Action must be taken! We have seen this with Phi Phi Island and the closure of the famous Maya Bay. It is amazing how far a little conservation can go, with biologists confirming the regeneration of this natural wonder. If environmental issues are tackled before they get out of hand disaster can be averted. It is as simple as doing a little bit (often)…
While awareness is great, action is the only real catalyst for change. It all starts at the individual level. Initiatives like monthly clean-ups are there to facilitate both of these. Jump on board and participate in something that truly benefits the community in which we live.
We invite you all!
Water and equipment provided. A great chance to meet like-minded people and spend an hour or two on beautiful Bang Saray Beach.
