Thai woman Vs King cobra bite

The deadly fangs of a king cobra snake left their mark on a Thai woman on Pattaya’s Soi Thung Klom Tan Man 22. The 52-year-old Thai woman was understandably taken aback when she found herself on the receiving end of a deadly snake’s bite.

Lampoo Kaeprathop, the woman who received the serpent’s kiss, claimed the incident occurred in the deep forests near her home.

A severe sting on her right ankle forced her to interrupt her routine of walking from her hillside home to prepare a meal for her husband.

Lampoo witnessed the picture of what she thought was a king cobra disappearing into the vegetation when she swiftly looked back.

After recovering from the initial shock, Lampoo was able to summon help from her neighbors, who then notified local rescue services.

The Sawang Boriboon rescuers came on the scene on Sunday, August 6, after initially being perplexed when they discovered Lampoo, who was visibly confused and experiencing numbness around the area of the bite.

A neighbor named Boy came to Lampoo’s help without hesitation. This neighboring homeowner offered some light on a pair of king cobras he knew that shared their home in the vicinity of the nearby wooded area.

However, he suspected that the recent cutting of the bamboo groove, which served as their natural home, could have resulted in their transfer, with the victim’s premises serving as a possible hiding, according to Pattaya News.

With the sleepy victim taken to a neighboring hospital for critical medical care, a team of skilled snake catchers has been on the hunt for the guilty reptile.

Despite Lampoo’s confident identification, it remains to be confirmed that the offending snake was truly a royal cobra.

Lampoo has somehow survived the ordeal with no severe consequences, raising doubt on the nature of the offending snake.

The identity of the serpent is as enigmatic as the snake itself, which is entangled amid the woody folds of the Soi Thung Klom Tan Man. Hopefully, rescuers will be able to find the snake and identify it.
