The tallest Christmas tree in Southeast Asia went up outside the Central World shopping mall in Bangkok this week.
Locals queued up for the unveiling then posed for pictures next to the 115ft (35 metre) tall artificial tree. It is decorated with red baubles, gold ribbons and bronze fairy lights.
Even the tropical palm trees have been wrapped in Christmas lights. The display also includes an inflatable Santa, an ice-themed happiness tunnel, illuminated snowflakes and giant LCD display playing winter scenes.
Organisers will keep the display open every night until January 6.
