A Tranmere 30-year-old arrested for murder and attempted murder.
A 19-year-old Rock Ferry woman was detained for conspiracy to murder.
Police said detectives will question the two suspects in custody.
“We made two arrests in connection with this cold-blooded shooting,” said Major Crime Investigations Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs.
The 26-year-murder old’ named as Elle Edwards and four others’ injury at the Lighthouse Inn are under investigation.
Merseyside Police, Wirral Council, and Dame Angela Eagle MP showed their support for locals today.
They visited homes in Wallasey Village’s neighboring roads to reassure residents and address any concerns.
Superintendent Matthew Moscrop, Wirral’s Community Policing lead, said: “Police officers, council representatives and local councillors talked with residents following this genuinely tragic shooting on Christmas Eve.
Residents were saddened by Elle’sfamily’s loss.
Elle Edwards’ parents penned a final note to their “light” on a little white card with pink flowers.
“You will never be gone,” they wrote on a note tied to a bouquet of flowers left where their 26-year-old daughter was killed on Christmas Eve.
“Residents understood our work and road restrictions during investigations.
“People also appreciated our, the council, councillors, and Dame Angela Eagle MP support during this awful period. We will strengthen police presence to reassure citizens after this event.”
Supt Moscrop continued: “We ask anyone with information, no matter how minor, to contact us, assisting the inquiry and helping to obtain justice for Elle, her family and others harmed or otherwise affected.
