Supergirl to face Morales

Supergirl to face Morales

ONE Championship has not only revitalized Thailand’s Muay Thai sector, but it has also given new life to Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, one of Bangkok’s most iconic venues.
On October 7, the famous venue will host ONE Fight Night 15, where Thai sensation Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak will compete for the second bout in two months.

In an atomweight kickboxing match, “Supergirl” will fight Spanish attacker Cristina Morales. The fight was supposed to take place at ONE Fight Night 13 in August, but Morales had to pull out due to a medical condition.

Instead, “Supergirl” went on to defeat another Spaniard, former WBC Muay Thai world champion Lara Fernandez, in a 118-pound catchweight bout at the tournament, winning by unanimous decision.

The victory boosted her promotional record to 3-1, with the one blemish being a razor-thin split-decision loss to Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex in January.

Morales fights for the first bout in the world’s largest martial arts organization since a knockout loss to seven-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion Anissa Meksen in 2021.

The 30-year-old is a former ISKA world champion with an amazing professional record of 48-8.

Tawanachai PK Saenchai, the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion, will defend his title for the second time against former featherweight kickboxing king Superbon Singha Mawynn at ONE Fight Night 15.

Tawanchai made his ONE Kickboxing debut in August with a dramatic third-round TKO win over experienced kickboxer Davit Kiria.

Superbon, for his part, bounced back from his surprising world title defeat earlier this year to Chingiz Allazov with a highlight-reel head kick knockout of fifth-ranked contender Tayfun Ozcan in June.

In the co-main event, ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty and bantamweight MMA champ Fabricio Andrade will compete for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title, each looking to add a second strap to their collection.

On the program, undefeated strawweight kickboxing champion Jonathan Di Bella defends his championship against the brave Australian sensation Danial “Mini T” Williams.
