So finally for some good news, on the last day of Songkran police were spotted Distributing ice cream and drinking water to cool down the tourists on Beach Road.
Tourist Police commander, Pol. Lt. Col. Piyapong Ensarn and his officers dressed up in colourful Songkran garb as they patrolled along Pattaya Beach April 19.
From their command post in soi 9, the police handed out 1000 ice cream bars and 1000 bottles of water donated by the traffic inspector Pol. Maj. Aruth Spanon.
The police booth also displayed photos of wanted criminals so both the public and the police officers could easily spot if these wanted persons appeared on the beach apparently no criminals were spotted.
