Police Raid Entertainment Venues

Pattaya police conducted random inspections of entertainment venues throughout the city at 3 AM on June 6th to deter crimes and ensure tourist safety.

The operation was led by Banglamung District Chief Mr. Weekit Manarojkit and Pattaya Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Navin Teerawit. Several venues were inspected, with a notably large number of patrons found inside one nightclub, SinLabin Isaan.

Officers ordered the venue operators to stop the music and turn on the lights, then proceeded to check the identification of all customers. The patrons underwent drug tests, and two individuals allegedly tested positive for illegal substances in their urine. These unidentified individuals were taken into custody and transported to Banglamung Hospital for further testing. If the test results confirm the presence of illegal substances, both the individuals and the venue operators will face legal charges, police said.
