Police hit the jackpot in drug Bust

Pattaya police conducted a raid on a gambling den yesterday, uncovering a large stash of drugs after the suspects managed to escape. They were targeting a small gambling setup hidden in a parking lot on Soi 3, near Jomtien Beach, after repeated complaints from local residents.

As the police arrived in a pickup truck, their approach was briefly hindered by a civilian vehicle blocking the road. Unfazed, the officers quickly exited their vehicle and rushed toward the gambling site. However, instead of gamblers, they encountered a group of suspected drug dealers who panicked and scattered large amounts of methamphetamine and crystal meth on the street before fleeing in different directions.

Despite efforts to chase the suspects, the police were unable to apprehend anyone. Upon returning to the scene, they found only a red table, with no gambling equipment or players in sight. The police confiscated more than ten packets of drugs, which were neatly sealed in ziplock bags. Authorities are now focusing on identifying the owners of the drugs and taking legal action.
