On Monday afternoon, an overturned pickup truck carrying fresh fish caused a commotion on Highway 331 near Pattaya, with no reported injuries.

The incident took place on March 11th, 2024, around 4:00 PM at Baan Pong Saket, Moo 5, Takhian Tia sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. The Pattaya-based Sawangboriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation promptly responded to the accident scene.

Upon reaching the site, emergency responders discovered a bronze Isuzu D-Max pickup truck with Rayong registration plates flipped onto its roof in the median strip, showing signs of extensive damage. The driver, Mr. Suwann Rirat, a 40-year-old individual, was fortunate to emerge unscathed from the incident.

Mr. Suwann recounted that he was en route from Chonburi to the nearby Khao Mai Kaeo market with a load of fresh fish when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a turn, leading to the pickup overturning. Fortunately, his use of a seatbelt prevented any harm to him.

The aftermath of the accident left fresh fish, frogs, and containers strewn across the road. Authorities swiftly deployed warning signals and worked to clear the roadway to prevent any further incidents.
