The Thai Meteorological Department reports thunderstorms in various regions of Thailand. The north and northeast areas are experiencing thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail in some places, while the south is also affected by thunderstorms. Bangkok and surrounding areas are facing hot weather with limited thunderstorm activity.
Over the next 24 hours, a low-pressure system will persist, causing hot conditions in the upper region of Thailand. This will lead to generally hot weather across the country, accompanied by partly cloudy skies during the daytime. The public is urged to take precautions against the extreme heat and limit outdoor activities.
Meanwhile, the northern and northeastern regions are under the influence of the southwest and southeast monsoons, resulting in summer storms with thunderstorms, strong winds, hail, and even whirlwinds in some areas. Residents are advised to be cautious during such weather conditions, especially when outdoors. Farmers should also safeguard their crops and livestock.
In the southern region, the southwest and southeast monsoons are causing thunderstorms and high waves, prompting boat operators to avoid sailing in storm-affected areas. In Bangkok, the weather will be hot with intermittent thunderstorms, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 40 degrees Celsius.
