Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan said on Monday the Royal Thai Navy would provide assistance to the family of a retired Navy Seals diver who drowned last week during the rescue operation at Tham Luang Cave.
Prawit said although Petty Officer 1st class Samarn Kunun had retired and was receiving a pension, the Navy would provide further help to his family.
