Naval officer in Sattahip killed in motorbike accident

On Sunday, July 2, a naval officer in Sattahip was killed instantly after colliding with a vehicle on his large bike. Anon Mung-Ueklang, a 23-year-old Petty Officer Third Class from the Royal Thai Navy’s Naval Aviation Command Unit, was discovered dead on Sukhumvit Road in the Sattahip district of Chonburi province as he traveled toward Rayong.

An unidentified person was said to have collided his Kawasaki Z900 motorcycle with a Honda City vehicle and suffered a serious injury before dying. His motorbike was discovered next to the body with substantial damage and parts all over the road.At 1:00 AM on Sunday, the collision was reported to the Sattahip Police Station. Despite the rescuers’ best efforts, Anon passed away.

Mrs. Naiyana Dejprarom, the 52-year-old driver of the involved vehicle, asserted that the dead struck her from behind as she prepared to speed at a stoplight. She noted that the hit was strong, implying that the victim might have been moving quite quickly.
