Motorcyclist dies after rear-ending a 18-wheeler truck in Chonburi

One person was killed after a motorcycle rear-ended an 18-wheeler in Chonburi yesterday after attempting to pass it.

In the Mueang area of Chonburi, the accident happened on the bypass route in front of the PTT gas station on the inbound side to Bangsaen.The lifeless body of Mr. Bunjerd Saenyen, 22, was discovered at the scene of the accident lying on the left lane of the road.

He was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and brown pants. Mr. Bunjerd had broken arms, a fractured brain, and a broken neck, according to an assessment of his body.His motorcycle was removed from underneath the 18-wheeler that was discovered there. The 18-wheeler’s 28-year-old driver, Mr. Wuttipong Thongma, claimed that he was transporting products to a client when the accident occurred.

He pulled into the petrol station and left the truck there so he could use the bathroom. But as Mr. Wuttipong prepared to leave, he heard a loud noise coming from the back of his vehicle and realized that a motorcycle had hit him from behind.

Mr. Wuttipong allegedly told the authorities right away. The dead person was sent to a local hospital. As of the time of publication, no charges had been filed, but the police are still looking into the accident.
