In the early hours of February 7th, 2024, a tragic motorcycle incident occurred near the Pattaya Central Underpass, resulting in the unfortunate passing of Mr. Kantapong Chaemnoi, aged 30.
Upon receiving the news of the accident, the Pattaya police, accompanied by rescue personnel from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, swiftly arrived at the location. They discovered Mr. Kantapong lying unconscious with severe injuries and promptly initiated CPR. Regrettably, despite their efforts, Mr. Kantapong succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
Preliminary inquiries indicated that Mr. Kantapong was riding a grey Honda PCX motorcycle when it collided with a barrier at a high velocity. The impact led to his ejection from the motorcycle, which ultimately came to rest overturned nearby. Eyewitnesses reported observing the motorcycle rider traveling at a high speed before the collision and promptly contacted authorities upon witnessing the incident.
Mr. Kantapong’s remains have been transferred to Banglamung Hospital, where they will be kept until his family arrives to perform funeral rites in accordance with their religious traditions.
