Russian tourists assaulted and robbed

In the early hours, a tourist was the target of a physical assault as well as a robbery on Jomtien 2nd Road, and as a result, she was unable to retrieve her mobile phone. The victim, who has been identified as Miss Aleksandra Rychkova and is 23 years old, was located by the authorities in a condition of shock and had also sustained brain injuries.

According to the preliminary findings of the inquiry, Miss Rychkova and her partner were sitting in front of a condominium when two Thai guys on a motorcycle approached them. They were also present at the time of the attack. One of the perpetrators assaulted Miss Rychkova physically and forced her to hand over her Redmi A1 mobile phone, which had a value of 2,500 baht. As a result, she sustained head injuries. This attack occurred without provocation. The offenders made a hasty getaway on their motorcycle after the attack.

Miss Rychkova received preliminary medical assistance from personnel of the police department before being sent to a hospital in the area for additional treatment.
