A female motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after crashing into road construction barriers in Pattaya early this morning.
Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan rescue workers were notified of the accident at 3:30AM on Sukhumwit Road southbound.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike on the road. Nearby they found 35-year-old Suttika Butsarakorn. She had sustained serious injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital.
There was no witnesses at the scene. However, police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the cause of the accident.
Critics online claim that the areas should be better lit and marked.
