Mr. Ittichat was seriously injured in a recent hit-and-run accident. The incident occurred when a sedan suddenly cut in front of him, causing him to crash his motorcycle into the car. The driver callously fled the scene without offering help, leaving Mr. Ittichat injured on the road. A good Samaritan who witnessed the accident quickly called for rescue services, which arrived promptly to provide assistance.
Ms. Thipawan, Mr. Ittichat’s mother, explained that on October 12th, her son was en route to pick up his pregnant sister-in-law in Pattaya when the accident happened at a U-turn near Soi Banglamung 29. The black sedan’s sudden maneuver led to the collision, and despite the severity of the crash, the driver sped away, leaving Mr. Ittichat lying injured.
Following the accident, Ms. Thipawan filed a report at Banglamung Police Station. Although officers reviewed CCTV footage from the scene and the escape route, the images were too unclear to identify the vehicle’s license plate, hampering the investigation.
Mr. Ittichat sustained serious injuries, including a broken facial bone, a broken arm, and bruising around his eyes. With his vehicle’s insurance expired, the family had to borrow 30,000 baht to cover initial medical costs. He is scheduled for surgery, placing additional financial strain on the family.
Ms. Thipawan is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has dashcam footage to come forward with information. She also urges the driver to turn themselves in and requests that the police intensify their efforts to locate the responsible party.
