A criminal responsible for repeated robberies at a nearby laundromat has been apprehended by Patong police. The Songkhla Province native suspect, 30, was detained in a dormitory next to the Q Speed Wash & Dry laundry facility on Nanai Rd in Patong.
The suspected thief was transported to Patong Police Station for additional proceedings after being arrested yesterday afternoon.
The arrest warrant for Natee Sirisom lists a number of counts against him, including stealing from other people’s property, driving a car while committing a crime, and harmful physical assault. It is established that the cunning thief stole several goods from the Patong launderette, including clothing and a pocketbook.
The Phuket Info Center Facebook page said that the cops have not disclosed any details regarding the bodily assault complaint brought against the thief.
Natee reportedly claimed to be jobless and unable to pay his roommate’s rent when questioned about his intentions. According to The Phuket News, he planned to make some money by selling the stolen goods.
Several senior officers from Patong Police Station, including the station’s arrest warrant analysis team and Pol. Col. Suchin Nilbodi, Superintendent, Pol. Lt. Col. Naruebodin Panglisen, Deputy Superintendent, Pol. Lt. Col. Suchart Chumphusaeng, Superintendent, oversaw the arrest of the thief.
An official source has verified that more legal action will be taken against Natee even though no specifics about such legal actions have yet been disclosed.
