A Thai man shot and killed his wife in Pattaya allegedly for talking to another man online. They were watching their little children when the terrible occurrence occurred. After hearing gunshots around 8 PM on June 11th, Pattaya Police and rescuers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation sped to a home in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province. Authorities detained Mr. Manit Charoenpoo, a 30-year-old tattoo artist, at the front gate of his home at the scene of the incident.
He was detained on suspicion of murdering his 28-year-old wife, Ms. Jutathip Chinfan, who was discovered dead in a pool of blood in the kitchen. She had suffered two neck wounds from gunfire. Mr. Manit, who was crying and clutching his two young sons, ages 7 and 11, when he was taken into custody.
One.9mm bullet casing was discovered nearby the deceased woman, and the suspect was arrested after having a.9mm CZ pistol and four rounds of ammo taken from him.
In his confession, Mr. Manit claimed that despite having been in a committed relationship with his wife for more than ten years, they were frequently at odds. He didn’t want their two sons to grow up in a broken home, so they eventually agreed to get back together and live together.
However, when Mr. Manit learned that his wife had allegedly exchanged messages with another guy, things didn’t go as he had intended. The wife attempted to flee when he confronted her about it but unintentionally dropped her cellphone. As he was picking it up, Mr. Manit noticed that his wife’s images with another man had been shared on social media, which triggered yet another heated confrontation.
His 7-year-old son was present when, in a fit of rage, he snatched the gun he had just bought and shot his wife to death.
Manit thought of killing himself after the shooting. He claimed that he changed his mind, put the pistol away, and gave his kid a bear embrace as they both sobbed when he turned around and saw his son’s face. At this point, the police showed in and seized control of Manit. The Pattaya News was informed by the forensic experts that one gunshot entered the victim’s head and another exited her neck. Regarding the weapon used, it was legitimately bought and registered in the deceased’s name, who had no prior criminal history.
The husband was arrested by the police. In order to take care of the kids, responsible authorities were getting in touch with their other relatives.
