Police on Sunday night arrested a husband for allegedly stabbing to death a man found in a Chon Buri resort room with his wife.
Siri Poolkrachang, 64, waited for police at the scene of the crime at Palm Resort in Chon Buri’s Sattahip district. He was charged with killing Thiradej Liamthong, 51, who was stabbed once on the neck and twice on the chest. When police and rescuers reached the scene, Thiradej was still alive but he died soon after. Police said they found Siri’s wife, Wandee Kaewpruek, 47, trembling with fear in the resort room.
Siri admitted that he had killed Thiradej out of rage after he secretly followed his wife and saw her enter the resort room with the slain man. Siri said his wife had told him she was going to visit a fortune teller in Rayong but he suspected she was having an affair. NT – EP
