Homemade Guns found in car

A 41-year-old guy was arrested early yesterday morning, August 3rd, in Pattaya for illegally possessing 20 rounds and handmade weapons.
Pattaya police arrested a Thai man, Mr. Ek Lekbang, at a construction camp on Soi Thep Prasit 17 at 1:06 a.m. on August 3rd, acting on a tip from concerned people.
The police took two handmade weapons from him.There are 38 pistols and 20 rounds of ammunition. The materials were hidden in the suspect’s pickup truck’s storage compartment, which he used to transport construction equipment.
In his confession, Mr. Ek revealed that he bought the firearms from acquaintances for 25,000 baht for the rifles and 2,500 baht for the rounds. He said that his only objective was to protect his property and not to hurt anyone.

Despite this, the police arrested Mr. Ek and charged him with illegal possession of guns. The individual is being prosecuted in court.
