Two Thai women lodged a formal complaint with the Pattaya police, alleging that they were assaulted and threatened with a firearm by a group of teenagers near Pattaya Walking Street over the past weekend. The victims also reported that the group discharged a firearm on the street, causing distress among tourists.
A 31-year-old woman identified as Ms. A (pseudonym), along with her 25-year-old sister, referred to as Ms. B (pseudonym), sought assistance from local media to identify and apprehend the group of teenagers responsible for the attack near Pattaya Walking Street.
Ms. A recounted that the incident took place around 5:00 AM on April 6th. As they were returning from Walking Street to a nearby parking lot, they encountered a large group of teenagers engaged in what appeared to be heated discussions suggestive of an impending fight. With their motorcycle parked nearby, Ms. A approached the teenagers and politely requested access to retrieve her vehicle. However, being under the influence of alcohol, Ms. A expressed her disinterest in the altercation, simply desiring to return home, disregarding the unfolding situation to her sister.
