A band of twenty Thai transwomen assaulted three foreigners on Beach Road in Pattaya early this morning, raising worries due to their previous involvement in violent activities in the area.
Pattaya Tourist Police responded quickly to a distress call and arrived on the site to assist the victims, who included two Saudi Arabian men and one Palestinian man. The foreigners were transported to the police station for questioning, visibly scared.
Meanwhile, inside the police station, the transwomen responsible for the assault awaited the arrival of the policemen and victims. During this time, they continued to chant and blamed the foreigners for the attack. According to the group, two of the transwomen were injured: a 23-year-old with a laceration on her mouth and a 20-year-old with scratches on her arms, hands, and face.
In an interview with Channel 7, one of the transwomen revealed that they were prostitutes looking for clients on the beach. A foreign man in the group approached her and struck a deal. However, as they were about to leave for a nearby hotel, the man’s companion questioned her gender identity, resulting in a heated argument. She sought help from her pals since she was feeling overwhelmed.
According to a local witness who witnessed the incident, the gang of 20 transwomen attacked the foreigners, who attempted to flee but one of them fell to the ground and was assaulted again. Despite their desire to intervene, the townspeople were afraid of retaliation from the transwomen, who have a history of such violent behavior.
The witness claimed that the gang engaged in similar crimes on a regular basis, obviously emboldened by their enormous numbers and unafraid of the consequences. Furthermore, many of those harmed flee the country before any legal action can be taken.
The Tourist Police stated that they will conduct in-depth interviews with the three foreigners and await the results of their medical examinations before considering charges against the transwomen engaged in the incident.
