Five Cambodians were arrested on Wednesday on an overnight Chiang Mai to Bangkok bus in Lamphun for having no travel documents.
The two women and three men were found on the bus which was stopped at a checkpoint in Tambon Tha Sob Sao in Lamphun’s Mae Tha district at 12:30am.
The police said the five were charged with sneaking into the kingdom, will face penalties and deportation.
