Firefighters were notified on Monday of a serious incident at a restaurant on Koh Lanta, in the south of Krabi.
Firefighters and a number of fire engines arrived at the scene to find the restaurant engulfed by flames.
It took them more than two hours to bring the blaze under control.
No injuries were reported.
Police are continuing their investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
