Jamras Dokmaiwhai, a 73-year-old man residing in Chon Buri Province with his daughters and wife, has brought attention to an alarming incident involving the Chon Buri police. He alleges that officers handcuffed and assaulted him in front of his daughter following a family dispute, which stemmed from a report of physical assault against him. Jamras, now seeking justice, has highlighted the alleged police brutality that resulted in injuries.
On February 5 at 9 am, Jamras visited his youngest daughter’s house to request a fan for donation to a local temple event. However, a verbal exchange led to his daughter striking him multiple times on the face, prompting him to report the incident to the nearby police station. When the attending officer accompanied him back home, the situation escalated.
Upon returning home in a police truck, Jamras claims he was asked to wait outside while officers entered the residence.
