Drunk Russian Tourist Falls out his window

An extremely drunk Russian tourist, according to Pattaya police, fell from his lofty flat and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
At 7 p.m. on Monday, November 6th, Pattaya police received a report about the event. Before swarming to the scene at an undisclosed flat in Soi Chaloem Phrakiat 9, Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province, the police coordinated with Sawang Boriboon rescue workers.
There, on the second-floor canopy roof, authorities found a Russian man who was lost and identified as 37-year-old Igor Nechitailo. According to reports, the visitor had unintentionally fallen from his third-floor accommodation. He might have avoided more severe injuries if the canopy roof hadn’t stopped him from falling farther.
Rescue personnel report that Mr. Igor’s injuries from the accident were only moderate. On the other hand, Pattaya police claimed that he smelled strongly of alcohol and was quite drunk. Rescuers had to use a ladder truck to lower him before transporting him to a nearby hospital.

Phakakrong, a 45-year-old witness, reported hearing a loud boom indicative of something hitting the canopy. As soon as she realized it was a person, she called the police.

As of the time of publication, Igor was still healing and sobering up at a nearby hospital.
