The incident happened on Thursday, September 14, last night in front of Flash Xpress Company’s warehouse in South Pattaya’s Banglamung district of Chonburi province.
The 19-year-old motorcycle owner, Mr. Worawit Boonwat, claimed to The Pattaya News that he was seeking shelter from the rain on the side of the warehouse, which was hidden from view from the main entrance, where he had parked his motorcycle. Worawit Boonwat works as a deliveryman for Flash Xpress. He went to get on his motorcycle to ride home when it stopped raining but discovered that it was gone.
After looking over the CCTV tape, Mr. Worawit discovered that his motorcycle had been stolen. Two motorcycles were parked next to each other at the time, but the robber had selected his. He said, “I accidentally left the key in the ignition.”
Since local homeowners have been dealing with numerous similar crimes, the victim has reported the event to the police and requested that they properly investigate the Pattaya area motorcycle thieves.
