Executives at a large Chinese firm have taken their 10,000 staff members on a company trip to Pattaya, of all places.
It was the second time Aurance have made the visit and this time it is to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Pattaya’s mayor Sontaya Khunpluem welcomed everybody at a cultural show in Nong Nuch gardens.
The Chinese visitors were treated to a Thai culture show with Muay Thai boxing and Thai food. The mayor, predictably, declared everybody to be impressed.
Sontaya insisted that Pattaya was a safe place to visit and that the money spent by the 10,000 would help the local economy and others in Thailand.
