Cambodian worker bottles his friend in Sattahip

An intoxicated Cambodian boat worker struck his alleged companion in the face in the Sattahip neighborhood.

Rescuers from the Sawang Rojanatham Foundation were alerted to a physical assault and injury of a migrant worker at a rented home in the Sam San sub-district of Sattahip District, Chonburi province, yesterday, May 28.

At 22:20 PM, they hurried to the scene of the event after getting the complaint and coordinating with the Sattahip Police.

Authorities discovered Mr. Keng Chok, a 45-year-old Cambodian boat worker, near the site with bleeding and lacerations all over his face.

Before bringing him to the Sattahip Hospital, they first gave him medical attention.Residents who saw the fight claim that the victim and an unnamed fellow countryman were drinking when it happened.

They suddenly started shouting for unknown reasons, and the suspect took a beer bottle and hit Mr. Keng in the face before running away.

The victim sprinted for assistance from the locals. He is still in the hospital, but his health is stable.
