Following disputes over clients and territory, a group of motorbike taxi drivers known as Win drivers in Pattaya claims that they were attacked by accused Bolt drivers. Two people were hurt in the event, which happened yesterday.
Two motorbike taxi drivers, 50-year-old Paitoon Wengwipha and 35-year-old Anant Panyim, went to the Pattaya Police Station last night at 10.30 p.m. to lodge a complaint about an unspecified group of people. They claimed that the group was made up of Bolt drivers who had physically abused them.
According to Paitoon and Anant, the group consisted of seven to eight men. They explained that several Bolt drivers had entered a condominium complex before the incident, which the Win drivers believed to be their turf.
A different set of Win drivers and the Bolt drivers got into a brief verbal confrontation as a result of this. The two factions initially agreed to part ways, according to Paitoon and Anant. But soon after the confrontation, the Bolt drivers allegedly reappeared carrying knives, iron rods, and baseball bats.
Despite the fact that Paitoon and Anant were not involved in the prior incident, they went on to attack them.Anant received lip injuries and required three stitches, while Paitoon required seven stitches for a severe head injury. The suspects fled the site after the attack.
Police are trying to identify all of the suspects involved, according to Pol. Capt. Natchapol Sangsi, the deputy investigator who received the report.
