A 27-year-old woman’s body was found under the Tha Phra sky train station on Friday night, and police are now looking into her death.
She has only been given the name “Kotchapan” and is a Phayao province native. About 11.30 p.m., she was discovered unconscious on the ground with severe head injuries. Her handbag and cell phone were close by.
Police believe that she fell from the station, although the exact cause of her fall is yet unknown. The incident was not seen by anyone. In an effort to determine what led to her falling from the station, police are reviewing area CCTV footage as well as her cell phone.
Her family and friends will also be contacted by police as part of the inquiry.
