Police in Phrae responded to a major accident on Song-Ngao Road involving a bus with 48 passengers and a trailer truck. Emergency response teams from over 20 organizations were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they found the bus had veered off the road and crashed into a tree. Heavy equipment was used to prevent the bus from sliding into a nearby ravine.
According to authorities, 10 passengers were seriously injured and were promptly transported to local hospitals. The bus had departed from the Mo Chit bus terminal in Bangkok and was en route to Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai. Police reported that the crash occurred on a downhill curve when the bus collided with a truck coming from Lampang.
While the investigation continues, transport officials provided first aid to passengers with minor injuries, allowing them to resume their journey. Police are planning to question both drivers involved in the incident as part of their ongoing inquiry before taking any further legal action.
