A 39-year-old Thai woman was arrested on Pattaya Walking Street for possessing a loaded firearm. She told police that she had brandished the gun earlier to fend off a foreigner who was allegedly harassing her.
Pattaya police received reports about a woman with a firearm on Walking Street in South Pattaya. Officers, accompanied by reporters .
They found Ms. Isaree in an intoxicated condition. Upon searching her bag, they discovered a loaded .380 caliber handgun with six rounds of ammunition. Ms. Isaree asserted that she had drawn the weapon solely to intimidate the foreigner and maintained that she had no intention to harm anyone.
