On June 28th, 2024, at 9:06 PM, a team of over 50 officers hailing from the Pattaya City police and relevant organizations conducted a thorough examination of an entertainment district within Pattaya City to uphold tourist security and deter criminal activities.

In Soi LK, Bua Khao, South Pattaya, officers diligently scrutinized the identification documents of bar customers and staff members across various entertainment establishments, administered drug screenings, and conducted searches for illicit firearms and contraband items. No unlawful behaviors or substances were detected during the sweep.
This scrutiny stems from a recent tragic incident where a manager at the “Tuk Tuk” club was attacked by a bartender in Soi LK, resulting in the club’s temporary closure. Local authorities in Pattaya have emphasized the importance of responsibility among entertainment providers in prioritizing patron safety and promptly alerting law enforcement about any illicit activities or substances for swift intervention.
