Pathum Thani police officers have disclosed a concerning incident involving three teenagers who purportedly fired shots at a taxi following a road altercation in Mueang, Pathum Thani. This altercation resulted in injuries to a 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.
During the police investigation, the taxi driver, Mr. Suraphon, aged 51, recounted his journey along Pathum Road in Mueang Pathum Thani, accompanied by his five grandchildren, aged between 3 and 12.
According to Suraphon’s statement to the police, while at the Rangsit-Pathum Thani Bus Terminal, he encountered three teenagers on a motorbike riding recklessly, swerving across the road. Suraphon reportedly attempted to alert them by flashing his headlights but was met with an inappropriate gesture from one of the teenagers at the Pathum Wilai intersection.
In response, Suraphon allegedly challenged the teenagers to resolve their issues in front of Baan Eua Arthorn Baan Chang in Mueang, Pathum Thani. Upon arriving at this location, the teenagers purportedly fired shots at the taxi before fleeing the scene. Suraphon initially attempted to pursue them but halted upon realizing his grandchildren were distressed, opting to return home instead.
