Thailand has been chosen as the main setting for the third season of HBO’s Emmy-winning anthology series, The White Lotus. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has partnered with HBO to showcase the country’s culture, natural beauty, historical sites, and hospitality.
Filming is scheduled to begin in February in Bangkok, Phuket, and Ko Samui. The previous seasons were filmed at luxury Four Seasons properties, and it is expected that the third season will also be shot at one or more of the group’s Thai hotels.
The series, created by Mike White, premiered in 2021 and has received critical acclaim. The third season is set to premiere on HBO in 2025, and the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is expected to acknowledge the show’s success.
