A Swiss man was found dead after falling from the 6th floor of a condominium building. Police suspect it was a suicide due to the victim’s history of depression and previous attempts to take his own life.
Authorities have indicated that there were no signs of a struggle or disturbance in the victim’s room and that the door was found slightly open. It is believed he may have used the fire escape door to make his way out before taking the fatal plunge. Unfortunately, no witnesses observed the incident, but staff later discovered the man lying in a pool of blood.
Investigations are underway to establish the precise cause and motive behind this tragic event. Law enforcement is currently reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to shed light on the circumstances leading to the untimely demise of Mr. Werner Scheidegger.
According to the victim’s friends, he had been battling depression for some time and had previously attempted suicide by self-harm and overdosing on pills. They revealed that he had recently closed a joint venture bar business, which may have added to his stress levels.
Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the deceased during this difficult time.
