A teen fight that broke out in the streets of Pattaya early this morning woke the city up. In the Naklua sub-district of Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung area, next to the Sukhumvit Pattaya Karn Chang garage, the tragic tragedy occurred this morning at 4am.
Teenagers used weapons and explosives to resolve conflicts. Following the event, two Thai men who had been hurt were immediately transferred to Bang Lamung Hospital.
The two victims, according to Bang Lamung Police, were a 14-year-old boy whose identity hasn’t been made public since he’s still a child and 18-year-old Siriwat Saksri. While the younger youngster suffered a graze gunshot wound to his left torso, Siriwat was struck by a bullet in his left abdomen.
The 14-year-old boy described the horrifying episode, saying it occurred when they were confronted by around 10 other teens riding motorcycles. At the moment, he was riding a motorcycle with his girlfriend up front, Siriwat in the back, and both of them.
One of the members of the confrontational group pulled a revolver and shot at the terrified trio as they were being pursued by the gang in a frenzied manner. Explosives were thrown in their direction as they screamed in terror and tried to flee, creating a cacophony of horrific noises that broke the silence of the early morning surroundings.
Unfortunately, the hostile group of youngsters left the area before the young lad could mobilize local assistance. Police are looking into the matter and have sent out a team to conduct a comprehensive onsite investigation. Along with carefully examining the physical evidence, they will also look closely at the images recorded by the CCTV cameras positioned along the path of this terrible tragedy.
The accused and the victims are thought to have a history of conflict, according to the police.
In the Pattaya area, there have been multiple incidents of violent conflicts between these rivalry groups of adolescents. These altercations seem to be beginning to spill over into the streets from enclosed spaces.
