Paris, France, June 21, 2023 At the 2023 World Airline Awards, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited was once again crowned the winner of two important prizes: The World’s Best Regional Airline and The Best Regional Airline in Asia. At the ceremony conducted today at the Paris Air Show, the prizes were given to Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President, and the airline’s management.
Bangkok Airways has won the title of Best Regional Airline in the World and Best Regional Airline in Asia for seven years running. Millions of travelers cast votes for their favorite airlines at the World Airline Awards, known as the Oscar of the aviation sector.
The president of Bangkok Airways PLC, Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, said, “Bangkok Airways has continued to strive to improve the quality of our products and services with the hope of becoming one of the world’s top-class regional airline brands during our most difficult period in aviation history. Our recent selection by customers from across the world to be designated the Best Regional Airline in the World and the Best Regional Airline in Asia in 2023 is evidence that we are succeeding in that goal.
Bangkok Airways is additionally ranked 29th out of the top 100 airlines in the world. “I would like to convey our profound gratitude to our customers for continuing to have faith and confidence in our products and services and for casting their ballots for us on behalf of the management and staff at Bangkok Airways. I’m obviously thrilled to have won these prestigious prizes from Skytrax, and I feel quite humbled.
For the seventh year running from 2016, Bangkok Airways has been named the Best Airline in the World and the Best Airline in Asia.
