A man has been charged with murder after his daughter, 19, was hit by a car and died.
Lauren Malt died in hospital on Sunday after the incident in Norfolk earlier that day.
Friends have paid tribute, saying she was an ‘angel’ and ‘their rock’.
Now Nigel Malt, 44, of King’s Lynn, Norfolk, has been charged with murder.
He will appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
A post mortem found the teenager died of chest and abdominal injuries after being run over in Leete Way, West Winch.
Norfolk Police said they were called to a report of a disturbance and a woman having been hit by a car at about 7.30pm.
Tributes for the teenager have poured in on Facebook. One friend said: ‘You are my dear angel meant the world to me and I’m so sorry you’re gone.
‘I can’t quite get my head around it. My rock. My little bean. My best friend.
‘We had so many plans, but now we’re apart. I will miss you every waking moment my love.’
A second added: ‘She was truly one of a kind and will be missed by so many. Such a wonderful, caring young person taken from us too soon.’
