Chachoengsao man jumps to death after losing job, girlfriend

Chachoengsao man

The loss of both a girlfriend and job apparently pushed a Thai man to jump to his death in Pattaya.

The body of Kittitat Suksrisung, 27 of Chachoengsao, was found Nov. 12 outside the Laguna Beach Resort. He had suffered massive trauma, exacerbated by landing on a barbed-wire fence.

Friend Anirach Sonangam, 23, said he, Kittitat and three others were sharing an eighth-floor apartment with Wilasinee Pakotanung, 32. He had been staying there a week after losing his job and breaking up with his girlfriend.

Anirach said Kittitat was unhappy with his living situation and had acted strangely on Loy Krathong, insisting all the friends take photos together when he’d never liked posing for photos before.

Wilasinee was the only one at home and witnessed Kittitat jump. Anirach said he’d left his mate on the balcony where he was playing with his mobile phone. Wilasinee was in the bathroom and came out to see him standing by the ledge. She called his name and he jumped.

The body was transported to Banglamung Hospital to await relatives.
