A 19-year-old Thai man landed on a car after falling from a Chonburi room on the sixth floor. He suffered non-life-threatening wounds yet managed to survive the terrible tragedy.
Overnight on Saturday, June 24, a person was reported to have fallen from a building at the Top Place 5 in the Don Hua Lor sub-district of Mueang district, Chonburi province. They arrived quickly to survey the area alongside the Thammarasami Manee Ratana Foundation rescue team. Authorities found Mr. Jakarin Boonleart, 19, lying unclothed and suffering from injuries at the location of the event.
On the hood of a black Toyota Yaris vehicle, he was discovered to be asleep. The fall broke the windshield of the car.
It was impossible to get Jakarin’s attention. The rescue squad then provided him with first aid and took him to Chonburi Hospital.
There was no answer from the victim’s room on the sixth floor when police officers arrived there. When they entered the room, they discovered the victim’s friend, Mr. Withawin Upathong, 19, who was visibly drunk. He insisted that he was unaware of his friend’s fall.
A dish and a pile of human waste were found on the balcony after further inspection. When Jakarin has recovered from his injuries and the authorities have determined what caused the event, they will call him and his roommate in to be questioned at the Don Hua Lor authorities Station.
