18-year-old drives Porsche into a tree, young friends injured

An 18-year-old teenager drove a blue Porsche right into a tree, 12 Million evaporates into the air and even younger friends are injured in the incident.

Police Lieutenant Pattarakorn Chainoi from the Pak Kret Police Station in Nonthaburi Province received notification of an accident involving a luxury vehicle at 14.00 on 29 July 2020. The accident took place on the exit of the tollway heading towards Chaengwattana Road in Pak Kret.

Officials notified the local rescue team and headed to inspect the accident right away.

Officials found a blue Porsche 911 Carrera S with the Bangkok license plate with 1 number No.6. The car is worth about 12 Million THB but was crushed in the incident.

The right side of the vehicle was stuck with a tree, the windshield was cracked all the way, and the right front wheel had almost disappeared.

There were 4 injured persons in the incident, the driver name Pakin 18-year-old with a fractured right ankle, A 15-year-old, B 15-years-old, and C 14-year-old. Fortunately, the 3 friends 14-15-year-olds only received slight injuries and were safely delivered to the World Medical Hospital.

Wichian Jonbandit 58 years old, an employee at the electric train station a witness to the accident stated that he was relaxing near the location when he suddenly heard a loud bang coming from the curve leading to the exit on the tollway.

The car lost control and bounced into a steel barrier that fell off the road. The car then crashed into a teak tree, the distance was 50 meters from when the car lost control to where the car ended up. Wichian ran to help whoever was inside and saw 4 people inside the car. 2 males and 2 females, the driver was injured in the right ankle and was stuck in the car while others were only slightly injured.

The good citizen opened the passenger seat and pulled out the driver. He then called the local rescue team who delivered all 4 to the hospital.

Wichian stated, “the teak tree is where workers come to rest, luckily most went home during the long holiday, they are very lucky”. Officials are collecting all security camera footage in the area along with interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to find the true cause of the accident.
