At 10:00 a.m. on April 16, Pol. Lt. Col. Phitsanu Intharachai, the investigating officer of the Khlongtan Police Station, received a report of a bodily harm incident involving the use of a knife within a residence on Soi Phatthanakan 38, Suan Luang Subdistrict, Suan Luang District, Bangkok. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that the injured party had already been taken to the hospital earlier. The victim was identified as Mr. Huang Kui Heng, 42 years old, Chinese nationality, with one stab wound to the chest. Unfortunately, he succumbed to the injuries shortly after. The perpetrator was identified as Mrs. Dong Jia Lin, 39 years old, Chinese nationality, who is the wife of the deceased.
During the interrogation through an interpreter, the perpetrator revealed that prior to the incident, her husband was drinking alcohol and attempting to provoke her. In response to the provocation, the wife grabbed a knife from the kitchen to defend herself. During the altercation, she stabbed the deceased once in the chest. She then sought assistance from the police to take her husband to the hospital before he passed away.
Preliminary investigations by the Khlongtan Police Station officers resulted in charging the perpetrator with murder before detaining her for further legal proceedings
