The accident happened in front of the Mouth-se bar and restaurant on Pattaya Third Road. The first people to arrive at the scene in Sawang Boribon were shocked to see a German man, a South Korean man, and a Thai woman laying on the road. Rescue workers did not give out their names right away.
The German and Thai people were seriously hurt, while the South Korean man was only slightly hurt. Emergency personnel provided first aid before rushing them to the closest hospital.
A CCTV recording shows that the South Korean tourist was riding a red Honda Wave motorcycle with the Thai woman sitting behind him when he allegedly cut off a German tourist riding a Yamaha X Max motorcycle at high speed. When the crash threw all three people to the ground, they sustained injuries.
They had to leave their motorcycles at the Pattaya Police Station. The police in Pattaya said they would take legal action against both sides once they got their things back.
