Hans Peter Mack, 62, was brutally murdered recently, shocking Pattaya City. A Pakistani-Thai guy claims that he was forced to confess to the murder against his will.
Shahrukh Karim Uddin, a 27-year-old suspect who was born in Pakistan but now holds Thai citizenship, disputes the charges. He alleges that the main perpetrator, 52-year-old German Olaf Brinkmann, forced him to take part in the victim’s body disposal against his will.
Uddin was detained by the local authorities last night so they could question him. Uddin showed substantial cooperation during his interrogation, asserting his innocence despite the harsh allegations brought against him, according to Major Wachirawit Wisutsaereepan of the Nongprue Police. The two other main suspects, 54-year-old Petra Grundgreif and Brinkmann, have kept quiet about the incident, in contrast. According to Major Wachirawit, their refusal to assist with the police has caused their cases to be handled by their own legal teams.
For his part, Uddin has engaged in effective communication with the investigators, which has only served to emphasize his request for support from Lieutenant General Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn, Deputy Commissioner of the Thai Police. He wants his claims of innocence to be independently looked upon.
He begged to not be held in the same prison as Brinkmann in the interim. In order to keep Uddin away from the alleged ringleader, he was moved from Nongprue Police Station to Banglamung Police Station. Uddin spoke to media while leaving Nongprue Police Station, his eyes filled with tears.
I didn’t murder Mr. Mack. I had to help Brinkmann against my will because I feared for my life.
Shahruek’s 30-year-old elder brother, whose name is withheld out of respect for his safety, shared his feelings. he stated
“My younger brother said that Olaf, the German suspect, had coerced him into taking part. If Uddin did not participate, Olaf threatened to kill his parents, hurt, and abduct his wife and sister. Uddin claimed Olaf threatened him with a gun while holding one to his head.
The brother went on to say that their family planned to contact Big Joke for support and redress. Added him…
He fears meeting Olaf in jail because he thinks he’ll be killed for speaking out by Olaf or one of his pals in a gang or club. Uddin’s concerns and his family’s request have led the police to decide that Uddin should be kept apart from Brinkmann for his safety. To further protect Uddin’s wellbeing, they have made sure he is kept away from the general public.
In addition to the murder investigation, Chon Buri police apparently agreed to look into any suspected criminal activity occurring among the local motorcycle club communities. This could reveal a network of illegal operations linked to this horrible occurrence.
