A Taiwanese guy with 3,971 days of overstay was detained after walking into the Nan Immigration Office. On Monday, June 19th, the Nan Immigration Office informed that they had detained a Taiwanese male (his name and age were withheld).
He was discovered to have 3,971 days of his valid visa remaining. The Taiwanese man arrived to the Nan Immigration office and surrendered, and the Nan Immigration Officers were informed of this, which led to the arrest. He enquired of the officials about the possibility of extending his stay in the Kingdom of Thailand.
He presented the officer with his Taiwan passport. His passport had been issued 18 years before and had run out eight years prior. He was brought to the police station at Mueang Nan.
Immigration officers said they would take the man’s cooperation and surrender into consideration.
