A 62-year-old woman on Monday jumped to her death from the fourth floor of Surat Thani Hospital.
She had been watching over her husband, who had been admitted there.
Suwannee Sitthikul died after falling from the fourth floor of the hospital’s inpatients building at 5.48am, police said.
She had travelled from Surat Thani’s Tha Chang district to watch over her husband.
Her relatives told police that Suwannee herself was unwell, but had forgotten to bring her medication with her.
As a result, she had become agitated before walking out onto the balcony and jumping to her death, they said.
